A Report on Jute Bag Unit Visiting under PMEGP

Recently MITHRA Foundation team was visiting a Jute Bag unit in Hyderabad which is already going well manner, Jute Bag unit founder Mrs. Vysetty Sunitha Rani, she is doing hard work and established the unit, she doing very month 5-6 lakhs business in exports their jute bags to different places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. She started their unit in small level on wards now she expanded in large manner, she make a different sizes of jute bags like women carrying bags, small purses, lunch bags, water bottles, laptop bags, luggage bags, travel bags, hand bags in different types, return gifted bags, school bags they manufacturing.

She mainly concentrated on customer need bags like customer selected the pattern, size, design of the bag. They storage the raw material in their manufacturing plant, she has maintained 5 members are stitching the bag, they from Rajasthan, 3 members are helpers they storage the bags in model wise. She got all types of permissions to start this business and she encourage women’s who started these kind of business she gave training for 1 week. She got many orders from different places of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and local temples etc., recently she got an order from US also.

At present plastic was banned most of the people was preferred these kind of bags and design for own style, she designed vegetables and goods carrying bags also, rates of the bags are in reasonable, it is also one of the employment generation program under Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), MITHRA Foundation was supported this kind of activities.

Conclusion:

These type of units generates the employment to the peoples, there we observe the lot things like how much time taken for one bag making, and there we saw different types of bags on that particularly very common hold using vegetable bags and goods carrying bags and rates also in reasonable, she encourage the new units and they gave training for who are interested to established these kind of units, she encourage women’s for generating employment, present trend was jute bag, non-oven bags and cloth bag are using instead of plastic bags. Right now we creating awareness on plastic bags side effects, how that was creating problems for health, environment etc., by this jute bags was very good product for health and environmental wise.
