A Report on Rural Mart opening at Nalgonda On 13th Nov 2019




















Recently Rural Mart was opening on 13th Nov 2019, with the support of NABARD this mart main concept is High Density Multi-vegetable Cultivation for Sustainable Livelihood and Augmented income in rural areas, this type of marts called self- marketing, it means to reduce the middle man process, by this farmer directly sell their production to the consumer. NABARD concept is to increase the doubling the income of farmer, under this process Rural Marts establishments in rural areas.

Under this process different NGO are opened rural marts at Nalgonda, here our honorable guest NABARD DDM Mr. Satyanarayana Garu was inaugurated the Rural Mart in Nalgonda, on that occasion different type of NGO and FPO members are participated on that event at Nalgonda.

Rural mart means it is a process of developing, pricing, promoting, and distributing rural specific goods and services leading to desired exchange with rural customers to satisfy their needs and wants, and also to achieve organizational objectives. The Rural Marketing refers to the activities undertaken by the marketers to encourage the people, living in rural areas to convert their purchasing power into an effective demand for the goods and services and making these available in the rural areas, with the intention to improve their standard of living and achieving the company’s objective, as a whole. The potential of the rural mart is Rural marketing is a two-way process i.e urban to rural and rural to urban marketing, Urban to rural process: Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) goods, Agricultural fertilizers, automobiles, etc. are offered by the urban market to the rural market. FMCG are products that are sold quickly and at a relatively low cost. Examples include non-durable household goods such as packaged foods, beverages, toiletries, over-the-counter drugs and other consumables.
Rural to urban process:  The agricultural supplies viz. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, milk, etc. is offered from the rural market to the urban market.
By this process to generate the employment also, The Government is running several employment opportunity programs, with the intention to engage people in other activities apart from the agriculture occupation.The Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP), Jawahar Rozgar Yojana (JRY), Training Rural Youth for self-Employment are the certain the program, designed to increase the livelihood of rural people.
Due to so much potential in the rural areas, the companies are focusing more on the needs and desires of people living in here and are taking every possible step to stimulate people to buy products and services and improve their livelihood.
Conclusion:
By this type of activities rural employment was increased and reducing of middle man contribution on the selling of the farmer productions, here farmer direct selling their production to the consumers' indirect manner, by this, to gain more profits and consumers get quality goods in the hygiene process.
