MITHRA Foundation Leadership Meets Union Finance Minister and Other Dignitaries in New Delhi

The MITHRA Foundation Team, led by its Founder & President, Sri Nimmala Rama Chandraiah, held a series of high-level meetings at Parliament House, New Delhi, to seek funding support for Agriculture, Allied Sectors, and CSR initiatives in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

During the visit, the delegation had the privilege of meeting Hon’ble Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, and presented a detailed representation on the need for strengthening programs in natural farming, beekeeping, Neera promotion, skill development, and rural livelihood generation. The Finance Minister appreciated the efforts of MITHRA Foundation in empowering farmers and rural communities and assured support through suitable schemes and CSR partnerships.

Other Dignitaries Met

• Sri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister, who discussed opportunities for central support in promoting rural entrepreneurship, agri-allied industries, and farmer welfare in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

• Sri N. Indra Sena Reddy, Hon’ble Governor, who appreciated MITHRA Foundation’s grassroots initiatives and emphasized the importance of sustainable agriculture models.

• Sri Haribabu Kambhampati, Hon’ble Governor, who extended his encouragement towards the Foundation’s work in creating market linkages and promoting eco-friendly livelihoods.

• Hon’ble Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, interacted with the team and extended his support to the Foundation’s efforts.

Focus of the Discussions :

• Funding support for projects in agriculture, natural farming, and allied sectors.

• CSR collaborations with Central PSUs and private sector companies to scale up farmer-oriented programs.

• Expansion of initiatives in beekeeping, honey processing, Neera by-products, and handicrafts to provide income opportunities to rural communities.

• Strengthening market linkages and exports of honey, jaggery, Neera products, and handicrafts from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
